Act on your dream
Today is March 23, 2004 and I have just registered CastleFreedom.com and created the first vestige of this website that will eventually lead to the creation and grand opening of Castle Freedom ™.
The idea is brand new and I’ve spoken to only a very few people about it.
They all agree to two things:
1. It’s an impossible dream that will take too many people and too much money.
2. It’s a great idea and would be hugely popular if we could find a way to pull it off.
So, I’m going to engage my imagination and start creating it in my own mind. Each day, I’ll imagine more of the castle and what it will be used for. When I get to the point where I can actually see it and walk through it, it will be time to start sharing the dream and attracting others.
I know this will take millions of dollars and several years to accomplish and I’m starting with no money and about a dozen people who have started imagining it in their minds.
A corporation will be formed, initial funding will be solicited, and the trademarks and service marks will need to be registered and protected.
How does one raise approximately $100 million without someone wanting to take over and change the dream to something else. One way would be to raise $100 from a million or more people. This would be accomplished over a period of time and all of it isn’t needed to begin.
My first ideas are that it will take five or six million dollars to secure the land that will be necessary and another million or two to start building phase one of the structures that will be necessary.
Over time, in multiple phases, the dream will be manifested near Murphy, NC, which is located approximately equidistant between Chattanooga, TN and Asheville, NC on US Hwy 64. North to south, we are between Knoxville, TN and Atlanta, GA.
The southern entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, in Cherokee, NC, is about an hour away and millions of people visit the park every year.
The Biltmore House is located a couple of hours east of here in Asheville, NC.
This is a great location for people to attend conferences, seminars, and classes related to peace and freedom. I can already see thousands of people smiling and laughing as they meet others who share their views and want to learn how to achieve more freedom in their lives.
One day, you will visit Castle Freedom ™ and I will be happy to shake your hand and thank you for all you have done to make this a reality.
Alone, I can only dream.
Together, we can change the world.

I don’t know if you’ve ever heard about a guy called Joern Utzon. He had a dream also. It took 12 years for him to design the roof and 20 years for his dream to finally become a reality. It DID become a reality - it is now the Sydney Opera House, one of the modern wonders of the world and a landmark in Australia. GO FOR IT!!

Hi Jenni,
Thank you for your encouragement. I appreciate it.
I think the Sydney Opera House is an amazing structure and thanks for telling me a bit about Joern Utzon’s experiences in manifesting it from his dream.

John, I too have had a similar dream to yours. A place where people can live and work together and invite others to share in our world. I don’t know if there’s anything I can do to help but would love to join in your efforts.
My name is Jared and I live in Johnson City, TN, which is about half an hour from Asheville, NC. I’ve never shared this dream with anyone, and I’m glad to see someone else out there thinks like I do.
Right now, I’m a college student, who works full time just to go to school. I had hoped that one day when I had enough money I could do something like this. My version of course was much smaller due to limited funds, and the fact that I thought no one else would believe I could do anyting like it.
I hope that you can achieve your dream, and would love to be a part of it.

Hi Jared,
Welcome to the Castle Freedom dream!
The only way this will become a reality is if enough people like you are inspired to help make it happen.
One person can’t do it, unless he or she is already rich, but that’s not what I want to do. I want to inspire others such as yourself to join in and help make this happen.
If it costs $100 million to build Castle Freedom, that’s only $100 from a million people, $50 from two million people, etc.
Now, we have to learn what we can offer in return that would make one or two million people want to join in the effort.
I’m still working on that part.
You’re welcome to be a part of it.
